Dear John,

It has been three weeks now that I have been coming to you. As you know I was diagnosed with ALS known as Lou Gehrigs Disease in March of 1999 but my symptoms started in October of 1998. I had lost the use of my left arm and hand. I could not open my hand. In the three weeks I have seen you I can lift a ten pound weight 21 times, lift my arm above my shoulder which I could not have done and have no pain. I can also pick up a pen which you know I could not do before. One other important change is my mobility. I am not as clumsy. I thank God for meeting you John because you have given me all that modern medicine can not give to me. I look forward to continuing my journey back into the game of life.
